Praises

After many home tours and lots of prayers, I am buying a house! The sellers accepted my offer without counter-offering and as long as all goes as planned, I have a closing date of June 12! God has woven the whole process together pretty seamlessly, as He always does. All of my meetings and inspections fell into my schedule without conflict, which is a miracle considering my schedule at the end of the school year.

The house is .4 miles (5 blocks) from my current house and is a really solid, brick ranch with 3 bedrooms and a newly remodeled kitchen. The house also has oak hardwood floors under the carpeting, so I plan to expose the hardwood. It will be perfect for me and my needs. The basement is not finished, but is very nice and with an area rug, it will be completely usable. Plus there is a pool table and ping pong table, which I believe will accompany the house (maybe I can sharpen my rusty skills and become the next pool shark-hahaha!) There is a small yard, which will be enough to entertain outside, but not too much to take care of. The best part overall is the location. I am one block from the main street in Cedarburg (2 blocks from the Old Mill/Winery if you are familiar with Cedarburg) and only 4 blocks from the school where I teach. Click here to see the house.
