Blessed Beyond Measure

Today, our Pastor gave a message on how each and every one of us are blessed with so much, from a warm bed to food, from friends and family to the freedom to worship, and on and on. It was a great reminder of all we have and often take for granted. He went on to share that we should have attitudes similar to Paul, who never evaluated his life based on what he was missing, but based on what he had in Christ. The message reminded me of the great family and friends I have, and most recently, their willingness to come and celebrate my birthday with me on Saturday night. We enjoyed a tasty, but a bit rushed, dinner at Joey Buona's downtown Milwaukee and then drove about 3 blocks further and enjoyed a show at Comedy Sportz. The sportz comedians had us belly laughing through the whole show. Afterwards, my friends met back at my place to play games for a bit. Thanks so much everyone! I am blessed beyond measure to have you all in my life!
