Wickedly Fun Weekend!

This weekend was a an absolute blast! I started the weekend by heading to Omro to meet my parents and sister/brother-in-law to see Wicked in Appleton. It was absolutely fabulous. The story was woven into the original Wizard of Oz so seamlessly and the production of it all was over the top. I cannot even begin to describe all of the special effects and backgrounds-just breathtaking!

The next morning, the whole family hung out together and we also celebrated Logan's 5th birthday (on March 3). My gift to him was a sleepover at my house and a trip to Build-a-Bear. So, in the afternoon, we headed back to Cedarburg and stayed busy all night. We amused ourselves with bug crafts, card making (his idea), plasma car driving, and of course Build-a-Bear. The B-a-B experience was so much fun and it was great to watch him dancing around the store, giggling. We even picked out some underwear and a Spiderman costume for Logan's new bear. We ended the night with Logan's favorite: popcorn and a movie. He asked me to go to bed at the same time as him and needing a good night of sleep, I took him up on it and went to bed at 8:45! Ahh-relaxation.

Sunday morning was breakfast, bath, church, book shopping, playing on scooters at my school, and general playing. We had a great time and it made the weekend very rewarding.
