San Antonio, part II

I enjoyed the rest of my stay in San Antonio with the Truwes, especially the warm weather! Jamie gave me a tutorial on how to make felt food (click here for her masterpiece)-a possible future venture with her help and instruction. We were also able to visit the staple tourist sites of San Antonio-the Alamo and the Riverwalk. We visited both on Thursday in order to avoid Fiesta (a week long celebration that takes place along the Riverwalk and near the Alamo). Unfortunately, it was raining but we still were able to take in the sights and Naomi and Micah were troopers as they rode along with us in the rain. Later that evening, Jordan came down from Austin to visit and hang out. We all went to Bucket Brigade (a great little hole in the wall local restaurant) for some delicious Texas Bar-B-Que! Yumm! It had been many, many years since I had seen Jordan so it was fun to reconnect. Thanks for taking the time to visit Jordan!
