I was babysitting this weekend for a family who lives in the country, with large windows that allow the outside in. As I awoke to falling snow, this was my view. I can only imagine what the squirrel was thinking: "These humans are so stupid to assume that a rounded/slanted roof and a cone shaped bottom will keep me from getting my bird seed. Ahh, just a little morning stretch!"
It continued to snow all day long (about 6" of total accumulation). I couldn't even get out of the family's driveway on my own. Poor Saturn couldn't make it. Here are some shots of the snow falling down around 5:30 pm. It is really beautiful and I am looking forward to some outdoor, snow activities.
