Thankfully the weather was beautiful, especially on Saturday, so we were able to hit a lot of parks. We even got to meet up with Jessi, Nick, and Zeke for the morning at Cedar Creek Park. After playing hard and long naps on Saturday afternoon, we walked downtown for ice cream and were side tracked by the popcorn wagon, so got some of that too. Logan thought it was crazy fun that we got both popcorn and ice cream before dinner! It's fun to break the rules every now and then! After our pre-dinner snacks, we came home for some football in the yard and burgers on the grill. We topped the evening off with a bonfire and lots of marshmallows! Thankfully my friend Courtney came over and helped keep an eye on the kiddos as they roasted and munched. It was a blast! Cooper kept asking when we were going "real camping" as he lives for summertime camping and what child wouldn't-you get to spend the whole day outside, swim, have campfires, and play all day! Good times to come!

May
A few weeks after Julie's birthday, I was able to take the kiddos for the weekend at my house so Julie and Randy could go on a date or two and get a few things done. With #4 coming soon, they definitely needed a kid-free weekend to get ready.
