On Labor Day weekend, I headed up north camping with my Mom and Dad to Waupaca for some much needed R&R. Mom's birthday was on Friday and we celebrated with a cake (her real celebration is coming shortly)
Friday I was entirely under-rested and over-stressed and I went to bed shortly after arriving. After 12 hours of sleep, I woke up on Saturday a new person. We then went up to my Uncle Shorty and Aunt Faye's house and visited with Shorty (Faye was gone). It was great to see him again and I was able to stock up on lots of wood for my fire pit-Thanks! The rest of the weekend was spent hanging out by the fire, playing cards/Scrabble, reading, and working on my homework for night class (not the highlight). Overall, it was a great weekend-thanks Mom and Dad!
